The San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport offers direct service from Dallas/Fort Worth, Denver, Phoenix, Portland (seasonal), Las Vegas (seasonal), Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle! In addition, you can transfer to hundreds of connecting destinations in the U.S. and abroad. Charter jet services are also offered by ACI Jet in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles. San Luis Obispo County is located mid-way between Los Angeles and San Francisco. It's accessible via U.S. Highway 101, which runs north and south through the heart of the county, from Highway 1, which runs north to south along the coast and from Interstate Highway 5 via State Highways 41, 46 or 166 connecting to Highway 101.
Before traveling by car we encourage you to check the Caltrans map and the SLO County Public Works website for the latest SLO CAL road conditions.
By train & bus - Amtrak’s Coast Starlight and Pacific Surfliner trains make daily stops at the City of San Luis Obispo Amtrak station, located near downtown. From there, board an SLO RTA bus or arrange for a Ride-On Transportation shuttle. Amtrak also has services that stop at the Grover Beach and Paso Robles stations.
